I know we have a real superhero / marvell spam ongoing right now, with Batman past us, Superman amongst us, Avengers coming back soon etc etc. So fu**ing boring movies. For me there is just one real superhero movie – Watchmen.
Back in 2009 after his 300 success Snyder was allowed to make this movie – and he crafted a mind blowing visually stunning version of the comic book. To date imho the best comic book adaptation I`ve watched so far on the big screen. And I do highly doubt there will ever be one better – considering what Hollywood is throwing at us.
It's not an action movie. If you don´t know it, make sure you watch the Director´s Cut!
