The new firmware update will be available, at no charge, in April 2013 from the Canon U.S.A. website and can be downloaded by end users or through Canon Factory Service Centers.

Quite a few new lens announcements from Sigma, Zeiss/co: With a bang, Carl Zeiss is introducing a new family of autofocus lenses for mirrorless system cameras at photokina 2012. Sigma Announces Three New Lenses: 35 f/1.4, 17-70 f/2.8-4.0 OS & 120-300 f/2.8 OS.
Canon announces the EOS 6D
Canon has announced the EOS 6D, a smaller, lighter and more affordable full frame DSLR for enthusiast photographers. The 20.2MP camera uses a newly-developed sensor and features an 11-point autofocus system with a single (!) cross-type sensor.
Canon EOS 7D Firmware 2.0.3
Firmware version 2.0.3 incorporates the following fixes.
EOS C100 Professional Video Camera
Well, there she is, the brand new/expected C100 – little edition of the C300. for about $8000 youll get all you wanted (bout 2 years ago) from canon. The biggest difference is the non existing PL mount, compared to the old C300/C500.
Canon EOS 7D firmware 2.0.X
The firmware 2.0.X is a substantial firmware update that also affects movie recording. It gives us manual audio controls.
